If you had posted that you needed to unpair the remote earlier, I could have told you- I have, as I wrote earlier, worked with a lot of these new boxes. You're the one who mentioned RF but apparently, didn't let us know the whole story.

Sorry for not being blatant about this being for programming a URC remote for the client. I came here asking for ANY help getting codes. Inconveniently, his remote was with his box. I did not have the cable box as it's at my customer's house, fifty miles away. So far, it works great, as long as Spectrum doesn't update the box and shut it off- just another day in the neighborhood when they don't allow us to have discrete power commands.

I do like the RF capability, though- I didn't want to install a box in a new kitchen and was able to put it on a shelf in the basement, with an HDMI cable going to the TV on the counter. I have installed a lot of these new boxes and the majority are using the Spectrum remote, but at least one is using the old remote I programmed years ago and it works flawlessly. Spectrum isn't stupid enough to use new remotes and boxes that don't work with the old equipment. You can go into the menu to set it up, pair remotes (their new one) and control equipment. It's not only RF- the old Time-Warner remotes work, too. If not, do you know of a codeset that does work on it? Do you know if URC's Cable Codeset 231 works on the Spectrum 210, which only comes with an RF remote?
